Almost 10 weeks!

I'm sitting home waiting for Tim to get here, he's on call :( so I am going to post about my pregnancy thus far!

My last period was on March 22nd, 2009. We were not expecting a bab
y, as I was on birth control and not planning. According to how far along I am now though, I conceived April 12th, 2009. Which if I remember correctly, was Easter. Haha :) Whoops! Anywho, I missed my period on April 24th. I immediately went and bought a pregnancy test, although I had not had any symptoms. I just know my cycle, and by 3pm if I hadn't started, something was not right! I got a very very faint second line, so then I bought this.
I called Tim right away, and I went straight to the health department to confirm. I was just stunned. She had me pee on an HCG test, and sure enough, another positive! From there, I left, called a few friends and got OB recommendations, and made my appointment for the following Friday.

My first OB appt was on Friday, May 1st. It went well. Of course, there was no heartbeat, as I was only 4w5d at the time. I got one picture of my baby, because there was only a little sesame seed there.
That night we told my parents and his. Both were excited!! We thought we could wait, but we couldn't! They just had to know :) Sooo, fast forward a few weeks. Morning sickness set in, I've been back to the doctor, my abdomen is swelling, and I got better ultrasound pictures and heard the heartbeat last week! We're so excited that it's almost unreal. Now, we're praying for a healthy, full term pregnancy!
